Trainers
Cefe trainers
are Malawian training specialists who have successfully passed an
accreditation assessment for each CEFE course they are licensed
to offer. Here is a list of our trainers. Click on the last name

BEED disposes of a nationwide CEFE network of more than 30 competent
CEFE trainers, who are living and offering their services in the
Southern, Central and Northern region. These trainers had to undergo
a sequence of trainings and tests in order to qualify finally as
a competent CEFE-Trainer. To become a qualified CEFE-Trainer, we
have set the following requirements.
- Requirement to attend
CEFE-Training: Experience as a Trainer and Knowledge in Business
Management or Social Development
- Training-of-Trainers:
4 weeks coaching in CEFE methodology by 1-2 international CEFE-Trainers
with final assessment and award of

CEFE-Trainer
Certificate, given to attendants who demonstrated their
competency in SME Management
Certificate of Attendance: attendants who have not passed
the TOT

Accreditation
of Trainers: Trainers will be assessed according to their competence
and capacity:
*** Star-Trainers: Highly qualified trainer,
ready to work independently with each level of target group
up to corporate level
** Star-Trainers: Qualified trainer, ready to work independently
with most of the target groups
* Star-Trainers: Potentially good Trainer, but needs more experience,
can only act as a Co-Trainer
until further assessment
Of altogether
70 people who were trained in CEFE so far, only 33 have managed
to climb up the CEFE ladder and reached our highly set CEFE yardstick.
These trainers are based in following regions:
South: 19 Trainers
Central: 6 Trainers
North: 8 Trainers
The trainers receive continuing Capacity Building support and will
be re-accredited regularly to assure our clients of quality results.
