Welcome to the CEFE Website of BEED-Malawi, a Malawian Training and Consultancy Provider and the accredited local agent for CEFE International. BEED's mission is to promote economic and social development in Malawi by CEFE, an internationally acknowledged training methodology aimed at adults and based on experiential and activity-oriented learning methods.

BEED believes that the key for sustained development lies in the people itself. Individuals and communities have to know their working and living environment to understand and to identify the problems that prevent them from improving their conditions, in business or in private life. Only then they can develop strategies on how to solve problems. In a modifying world the key for development lies in awareness and behaviour change.

BEED strives for changing people's attitudes and opening minds, making people become more entrepreneurial and take their fortune into their own hands. This is what we understand as Entrepreneurship, aimed not only at people in or for business, but also for individuals and communities facing economic and social challenges like HIV-AIDS, Farming, Community and Youth Development, Democracy, Human Rights and Gender issues, etc.
